Kara Lindsay
Kara Lindsay is one of those people you want to keep a close eye on, because she’s rising in the ranks… and fast. Kara made her Broadway debut with those high-flying paper boys as Katherine in Newsies. She then went on to play Glinda the Good Witch of the North in that little musical called Wicked. And this week, it was announced that Ms. Lindsay will be appearing alongside Chilina Kennedy as Cynthia Weil in Beautiful – The Carole King Musical.

What do you consider to be your best asset?
Oh geez, well probably that I rarely judge people. I think we are all just trying to make it in this world and I most likely have more faults than they do! Who am I to judge?

Marrying my husband, Kevin Massey!
What is your favorite drink?
Coffee. Always. Or wine. 😉
What is your favorite food?
Pizza and beer together at the same time.
What is your favorite condiment?
Spicy mustard.
What is your current obsession?
Anything HGTV. It’s instant gratification. A rundown home renovated and remodeled in 30 mins. Yes please.
If you could give up one of your vices, what would it be?
Oh goodness, I think it would be scrolling through Instagram and/or Facebook in the wee hours of the morning when I should be sleeping!
What is the one professional accomplishment you long for most?
I would love to break into the TV world someday. It’s not easy, that’s for sure. It’s all such a gamble. But it’s the unknown that is surely so intriguing!
What is the one thing you waste too much money on?
Food. I’m always hungry and stuck in midtown with no food. And NYC is expensive!
What is the one activity you waste too much time doing?
Worrying. I’m such a sensitive nancy! I’m a professional worrier.
What do you consider to be the single greatest threat to your health?
Donald Trump.
What is the single best trait you inherited or learned from your parents?
My mom is the strongest woman I know. We call her MacGyver. I try to emulate her everyday. She handles everything with grace and class. I hope I grow up to be just like her.
What is the single worst trait you inherited or learned from your parents?
Maybe that’s where I get my worry wart? Oh the bunions. Worst trait: bunions.
What in the world most thrills you?
Traveling outside the United States and exploring. It’s a beautiful world we live in.
What current trend in popular culture most irritates you?
ALL of the solo selfies. I can’t help but laugh!
What was the single most embarrassing moment you’ve ever experienced on the job?
There’s far too many! Entering the white room. It’s a terrible place.
What is your favorite place in the world?
Any place where my family can all be at the same place at the same time.
What is the most important trait you seek in a romantic partner?
Patience. Humor. Handsome. A Kevin Massey 😉
Do you prefer the company of dogs or cats?
DOGS! …no offense
What would have to happen to make today the best day of your life?
Wow! Why did this make me cry?! think I’m already having the best day. We are where we need to be at all times. To learn and grow and celebrate the peaks and valleys.
