My silver hair!

Having set up Jamie deRoy & friends Cabaret Initiative with The Actors Fund.

It’s now been folded into the Entertainment Community Fund, since they are  helping all aspects of entertainment.

SALT – but it doesn’t like me!

Anything purple!

If you could give up one of your vices, what would it be?

What is the one professional accomplishment you long for most?

I’d like to get a commercial or ad campaign for silver hair and letting your hair be natural.

What is the one thing you waste too much money on?

Cat objects – not that I spend too much money – I just have too many cat things!

What is the one activity you waste too much time doing?

Sitting too much.

A sense of humor.

I’m sure I have some, but I refuse to recognize them.

Great theater!

What current trend in popular culture most irritates you?

I HATE having to deal with automated voicemail. Press this key, press that number, just give me a receptionist I can talk to! (BTW – it used to be a great entry job for young people)

What was the most embarrassing moment you’ve ever experienced on the job?

Years ago, onstage with Rene Auberjonois in The Threepenny Opera: my long skirt got caught in the curtain. As they raised the curtain – so raised my skirt – over my head!

What is your favorite place in the world?

What is the most important trait you seek in a romantic partner?

Kindness and a sense of humor.

Cats, but I do love dogs too. I just don’t want to walk them!

Winning the lottery, so I can produce more theater!

What is your personal motto?

Be kind to everyone and always be present.
