THURSDAY, MAY 29

WINNER OF BROADWAY’S BIGGEST FAN COMPETITION ANNOUNCED

New York, NY (April 22, 2025) – Today, Broadway.com announced that the 25^th annual Broadway.com Audience Choice Awards will be presented on Thursday, May 29.  At the end of each Broadway season, fans from across the globe bestow the most democratic theater award of the year. In recent years, the ceremony has featured Award Winners Jessica Chastain, Elle Fanning, Hugh Jackman, Rachel McAdams, Leslie Odom, Jr., Sarah Jessica Parker, Ben Platt, Daniel Radcliffe, and more.

The winner of Broadway’s Biggest Fan competition, chosen by judges Josh Lamon (Death Becomes Her), Jasmine Amy Rogers (Boop! The Musical), and Helen J. Shen (Maybe Happy Ending), was also announced as Cynthia Fraser from Baltimore, Maryland. Each person who entered had to submit a 60 second or less video explaining why they are Broadway’s Biggest Fan. Cynthia and a friend will each attend the 25^th annual Broadway.com Audience Choice Awards as well as see each of the judges’ current Broadway shows.

The Broadway.com Audience Choice Award is the only major theatrical prize awarded solely by votes cast online by audience members. Awards are presented in traditional categories as well as several unique to the Broadway.com Audience Choice Awards, including “Favorite Diva Performance,” “Favorite New Song,” “Favorite Breakthrough Performance,” “Favorite Funny Performance” and “Favorite Onstage Pair.” In addition, an award is presented for national tours to encourage the participation of Broadway fans not only in New York but across the country. All awards are decided solely by the voting of theater fans on Broadway.com.

Fans will be able to vote to select this year’s nominees at Broadway.com.

Wednesday, April 23 – Nominee voting opens.

Sunday, April 27 – Nominee voting closes.

Tuesday, Apil 29 – Award voting opens.

Friday, May 9 – Award voting closes.
