New York, NY (11/5/10) – Academy and Tony Award-winner Joel Grey will be the subject of “At the Paley Center,” airing tonight on WLIW21 at 7:00 p.m. and WNET Thirteen at 9:30 p.m. The Paley Center for Media and Creative News Group, in association with WNET.ORG partnered to present this six-part series, which concludes tonight and in previous episodes featured Ted Danson, Angela Lansbury, Jimmy Fallon with special guest moderator Brian Williams, Meredith Vieira and Tavis Smiley.

In the half-hour episode hosted by Pat Mitchell, President and CEO of The Paley Center for Media, Grey shares the highlights of his multi-decade television career and discusses the important role television has played, from his earliest appearances in the 1950’s on series with Steve Allen and Eddie Cantor, to his Emmy-nominated turn on CBS’s “Brooklyn Bridge” to more recent performances on “Oz,” “House,” and “Grey’s Anatomy.”

This episode of “At the Paley Center” will be available online beginning next Friday at www.thirteen.org/paleycenter.
