New York, NY (October 16, 2014) – The producers of the critically lauded reimaging of the musical Side Show have released an all new recording of “I Will Never Leave You”, performed by Erin Davie and Emily Padgett. The music from Side Show is written by Tony®, Academy® Award nominee and Grammy Award Winning composer Henry Krieger (Dreamgirls) and Tony® Award nominated lyricist Bill Russell, with orchestrations by Tony® Award winner Harold Wheeler, with musical direction by Sam Davis.

As previously announced, the all-new Broadway cast recording of Side Show will be released on Broadway Records in early 2015. Boasting Side Show’s legendary and beloved score, which now includes new music, and featuring the acclaimed vocal performances of the recently-revealed Broadway cast of the upcoming, totally reimagined production, the new original Broadway cast recording of Side Show will be produced by six-time Grammy Award® winning producer Frank Filipetti and will be released in the theater, stores and on iTunes in early 2015. Side Show begin previews performances at Broadway’s St. James Theatre (246 West 44th Street) on Tuesday, October 28 with an official Opening Night on Monday, November 17. Tickets, now on sale, can be purchased by visiting SideShowBroadway.com. Box office hours are Mondays – Saturdays from 10:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Closed on Sundays.
Featuring a “supercharged score” (Charles Isherwood, New York Times), Side Show includes new music by multiple Grammy Award® winner and Academy Award®, Golden Globe®, and Tony Award® nominee Henry Krieger (Dreamgirls), with book and lyrics by Tony Award® nominee Bill Russell and additional book material by Bill Condon, and choreography by Tony and Olivier Award® nominee Anthony Van Laast (Mamma Mia).
Side Show is inspired by the remarkable true story of the Hilton twins, Daisy and Violet, who were legends in their time and the highest paid performers on the vaudeville circuit. Side Show is their heartwarming search for first love and acceptance amidst the spectacle of fame and scrutiny under the spotlight.
Under the direction of Academy Award® winning director Bill Condon (Chicago, Dreamgirls, Twilight Breaking Dawn Parts 1 & 2), making his theatrical debut, the cast will feature Erin Davie as Violet Hilton and Emily Padgett as Daisy Hilton, the infamous conjoined twins, with Matthew Hydzik as Buddy Foster, Robert Joy as Sir, Ryan Silverman as Terry Connor, and David St. Louis as Jake. The ensemble of side show characters will include Brandon Bieber as the 3 Legged Man, Matthew Patrick Davis as the Geek, Charity Angel Dawson as the Fortune Teller, Lauren Elder as the Venus di Milo, Javier Ignacio as the Dog Boy, Jordanna James as the World’s Tiniest Woman, Kelvin Moon Loh as the Half-Man Half-Woman, Barrett Martin as the Human Pin Cushion, Don Richard as the Reptile Man, Blair Ross as the Bearded Lady, Hannah Shankman as the Tattoo Girl, Josh Walker as the World’s Tiniest Man, with Con O’Shea-Creal, Derek Hanson, and DeLaney Westfall.
The “Broadway dream” design team includes scenic design by three-time Tony Award® nominee David Rockwell (Kinky Boots, Hairspray, “Academy Awards”); lighting design by nine-time Tony Award® winners Jules Fisher & Peggy Eisenhauer (Ragtime, Gypsy, Chicago); costume design by five–time Tony Award® nominee Paul Tazewell (The Color Purple, In the Heights); sound design by Tony Award® nominee Peter Hylenski (Motown, After Midnight); hair and wig design by Charles LaPointe (A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder, Motown); make-up design by Cookie Jordan, illusions by Paul Kieve (Pippin, Matilda, Ghost); and special make-up effects by the Academy Award® winning team Dave Elsy & Lou Elsy (X-Men, The Wolfman). The revised book and lyrics are by Bill Russell, with music by Henry Krieger, and additional book material by Bill Condon.
