Max Wolf Friedlich

Max Wolf Friedlich

Max Wolf Friedlich, playwright of Broadway’s JOB, starring Succession’s Peter Friedman and Sydney Lemmon, joins us On The Couch this Week. The show has been on a long journey to Broadway, with two incredibly successful off-Broadway runs at the SoHo Playhouse and Connelly Theatre. It’s stint on Broadway sadly concludes at the end of September. Run to see it while you can!

Friedlich has developed a number of exciting projects for TV / Film and was the youngest writer to ever present work at the New York International Fringe Festival with play SleepOver. A long and bright future is ahead, and this definitely won’t be the last time we see his name on a Broadway marquee.

Read our full interview below, where we hear the biggest threat to Max’s life. I’m sure any New Yorker can strongly agree.

You know all of the good advice – you just have to be ready to listen to it. “Work hard” isn’t profound, but it’s the best there is. It took me until I was 25 to really get it. I wasn’t hungry enough to understand it till then.
