New York, NY (September 25, 2025) – Operation Mincemeat announced today a Halloween costume contest for all audience members in attendance at the performance on Friday, October 31. Upon arrival, the Operation Mincemeat team will take photos of patrons in their costumes as they enter the theater (bonus points may be awarded for Mincemeat-themed outfits) and a winner will be announced by the cast directly following the performance from the stage during curtain call. The winner will receive: an overnight stay at the CIVILIAN Hotel, a voucher for dinner for two at Bond45, a bouquet of flowers provided by Starbright Floral Design, an assortment of chocolates from Hershey’s Chocolate World Times Square and an Operation Mincemeat vinyl signed by the cast.

Tickets for the Halloween performance can be found at Telecharge.com or by phone at 212-239-6200.

This year, the critically acclaimed production was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Musical, Best Book of a Musical (David Cumming, Felix Hagan, Natasha Hodgson and Zoë Roberts), and Best Original Score (Music and/or Lyrics) Written for the Theatre (David Cumming, Felix Hagan, Natasha Hodgson and Zoë Roberts). Malone won the Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role in a Musical for his role as ‘Hester Leggatt.’

Operation Mincemeat has been extended through February 15, 2026 by popular demand, originally set to be a 16-week run.

In Operation Mincemeat, it’s 1943, and the Allied Forces are on the ropes. Luckily, they’ve got a trick up their sleeve. Well, not up their sleeve, per se, but rather inside the pocket of a stolen corpse. Equal parts farce, thriller, and Ian Fleming-style spy caper (with an assist from Mr. Fleming himself), Operation Mincemeat tells the wildly improbable and hilarious true story of the covert operation that turned the tide of WWII.

Directed by Robert Hastie, Operation Mincemeat began performances on Broadway on February 15 and is currently playing at the historic Golden Theatre (252 West 45th Street).

Starring in Operation Mincemeat are David Cumming, Claire-Marie Hall, Natasha Hodgson, Jak Malone, and Zoë Roberts, who have reprised their original, acclaimed performances for the musical’s Broadway (American) premiere.

Tickets are on sale at Telecharge.com or by phone at 212-239-6200. For more information, please visit operationbroadway.com.

Operation Mincemeat is produced on Broadway and in the West End by Avalon (in association with SpitLip). The show was commissioned by New Diorama Theatre, co-commissioned by The Lowry, and also supported by the Rhinebeck Writers Retreat.
