Rebecca Naomi Jones
Rebecca Naomi Jones, one of Stereophonic’s newest band members, is joining us On The Couch this week. Most recently Jones starred in the reimagined Oklahoma! for which she received a Drama Desk Award Nomination. Her career spans far and wide – Broadway is lucky to have her back in such a complex character.

If you could give up one of your vices, what would it be?
Buffering boredom/fatigue/feelings with scrolling.
What is the one professional accomplishment you long for most?
A big ass complicated, challenging TV role
What is the one thing you waste too much money on?
Formerly, clothes and restaurants. But I’m more conscious and more of a homebody these days. And I love to cook!
What is the one activity you waste too much time doing?
Checking my phone and then getting distracted by nonsense.
What do you consider to be the single greatest threat to your health?
Forever chemicals
What’s the single best trait you inherited or learned from your parents?
Positivity bias. And ART! From dad, the ear; from mom, the eye.
What’s the single worst trait you inherited or learned from your parents?
Not really knowing how to manage money – which came from a positive place of knowing that money is not the most important thing.

A beautiful sunny walk

Internet ranting
What was the most embarrassing moment you’ve ever experienced on the job?
I’ve sent the email to the wrong recipient and it wasn’t cute

My mom’s apartment

A strong moral compass
Do you prefer the company of dogs or cats?
Dogs duh
What would have to happen to make today the best day of your life?
Sunny day outside with family and friends, hosting and cooking a big meal, maybe some late night family band time, and a living room dance party.
