BIOGRAPHIES

Julia Randall (Playwright) is a born and bred New York writer and actor. Her work is celebrated for its fresh, dangerous and playful approach to contemporary storytelling. Her play Little Miss Ransom had a sold out run in Bushwick in April, 2024. Her short film BITCHHH, which she also acted in, will be in production this fall, directed by J. Tinneny. “My interest as a writer is over the series of complex questions that arise when a woman is declared to be “difficult” or “evil.” I often ask myself how can I objectively play both sides of a character’s morality, and where do those lines blur with an audience’s predeterminations around the ideas presented?”

Alex Keegan (Director) is a director whose recent work includes the world premiere of Manning by Benjamin Benne (Portland Stage), Maiden Voyage by Cayenne Douglass (The Flea), Affinity co-adapted with Ryan Adelsheim from Sarah Waters’ novel (Yale Drama), and new work in development with Primary Stages, NYTW Adelphi Residency, Ars Nova ANT Fest, New Georges, Rattlestick, Yale Cabaret, and Ensemble Studio Theatre. Currently, she’s a member of the WP Lab, a New Georges Affiliated Artist, and on faculty at Wesleyan University. She’s a recipient of an EST/Sloan Project Commission, a former directing fellow at The Drama League, Rattlestick Theater, and Geva Theatre Center, and an alum of The Civilians R&D Group, Roundabout Directors Group, Williamstown Directing Corps, and Lincoln Center Directors Lab. MFA: Yale School of Drama. alex-keegan.com
