New York, NY (June 20, 2019) – Ian McKellen and Ambassador Theatre Group Productions (ATG) are excited to announce that Ian McKellen On Stage: With Tolkien, Shakespeare, Others …And You! will play on Broadway at the historic Hudson Theatre (141 West 44th Street) on Tuesday, November 5th. Directed by Sean Mathias, Ian McKellen On Stage… will benefit the nonprofit theater organization Only Make Believe. One night only!
This unique event follows an unprecedented, sold-out tour of over 80 theaters the length and breadth of the UK, in celebration of Ian McKellen’s 80th birthday year. Tickets are on sale today via www.thehudsonbroadway.com/whatson/ian-on-stage. There are over 200 tickets for under $80 for this one night event.
By the end of its West End run, the acclaimed Show will have raised £3million ($3.8million) for Britain’s theater industry.
