Every day is opening night.

A Red Carpe Move

As a Broadway photographer in the winter months, red carpet events usually consist of standing out in the cold, talking to your photographer colleagues about how cold it is, and shooting celebrities who, in their unfaltering glamour, are usually way colder than you are. All of this being said, the week began with the It’s Only A Play re-opening extravaganza, and for some reason, my utter astonishment numbed any weather-induced annoyances. A carpet running from the Schoenfeld Theater to the Broadway hit’s new home, the Jacobs, ensured an evening to remember. What really made the night iconic, though, was the sight of the It’s Only A Play cast lugging their belongings from their old home to their new one down the street.
