Alison Bechdel was among this morning’s recipients of the coveted MacArthur Foundation “Genius” Grants. Her acclaimed graphic memoir Fun Home is the inspiration for the Award-winning musical of the same name, which will open on Broadway at the Circle in the Square Theatre this spring.
