CONGRATULATES

J E N   H O G U E T

RECIPIENT OF 2015 T. FELLOWSHIP

New York, NY (July 1, 2015) –  Sir Howard Panter, Ms. Rosemary Squire OBE, and David Lazar of the Ambassador Theatre Group (ATG) have announced today that Jen Hoguet, who serves as their New York Development Associate, is the recipient of this year’s prestigious T. Fellowship.

Ms. Hoguet is the first woman to receive this Fellowship, which is designed to support the development of gifted emerging theatrical producers as a partnership between theatre professionals and Columbia University School of the Arts.

Lazar, ATG’s Executive Director, said: “We are excited for Jen that she has been chosen for the T. Fellowship and will have the unique opportunity to learn from such a distinguished group of Broadway mentors.  Everyone at ATG knows she has the talent necessary to make her mark as a theatrical producer, and it’s great that the T. Fellowship is supporting her in such efforts.”

This fellowship awards Jen with seed money for the development of a project of her choosing, access to classes in Columbia’s Theatre department, and ongoing structured mentorship from Fellowship Committee members: Margo Lion, Gregory Mosher, Hal Prince, Thomas Schumacher, Jeffrey Seller, and David Stone among others.

The T. Fellowship was created to honor the legacy of Broadway producer T. Edward Hambleton in an effort to help create a new generation of creative theatrical producers, those who initiate work from the ground up, following a path all their own. The program is hosted by the Theatre Arts Program of the School of the Arts and was founded by faculty members Steven Chaikelson, Victoria Bailey and Gregory Mosher, in collaboration with Fellowship Committee members Harold Prince, Ed Wilson, Margo Lion, Jack O’Brien and Annette Niemtzow. The T. Fellows take classes in the Theatre Management & Producing Program, while the committee members serve as guest lecturers and participate in panel discussions.
