Bono at Danai Gurira’s “Eclipsed”
Danai Gurira’s haunting play Eclipsed was nothing to be missed. Each night on Broadway, the performance would be dedicated to kidnapped schoolgirls from the Chibok School in Nigeria, specifically having the audience recite some of their names. Bono joined us to help launch this initiative, with a different celebrity/humanitarian joining at the end of each performance. Speaker Nancy Pelosi then joined us on the final performance the dedication and announced the show would be seen next at San Francisco’s Curran.
