Brett Thiele is back home, appearing in theater’s mostanticipated, most laid-back, most paradisiacal Broadwaybound Escape to Margaritaville, which opens on Friday in New Orleans, the city where he grew up! Before this, Mr. Thiele appeared in Miss Saigon and Broadway’s Spider- Man: Turn Off The Dark. This triple-threat keeps threatening with relentless talent and contagious energy and we are thrilled to have him On the Couch.

My heart.

Making my Broadway Debut.

Blanton’s bourbon, neat.

Anything from New Orleans. Food is my religion.

Shame at how much I eat.

The show “Atlanta.” Donald Glover is a superhero.

If you could give up one of your vices, what would it be?

Eating on the subway.

What is the one professional accomplishment you long for most?

Opening my own studio.

What is the one thing you waste too much money on?

Food.

What do you consider to be the single greatest threat to your health?

A corgi with a thirst for human blood. I’d be the perfect target.

Not taking anything too seriously.

Pouring milk over my ice cream.

Live music and dancing.

The Snapchat hotdog.

What was the single most embarrassing moment you’ve ever experienced on the job?

My Broadway debut, within 20 seconds of being on stage I fell flat on my back.

New Orleans, LA.

What is the most important trait you seek in a romantic partner?

Communication and sense of humor.

Do you prefer the company of dogs or cats?

I would legitimately vote for a dog to be president of the United States.

What would have to happen to make today the best day of your life?

Corgi parade.
