2010 JONATHAN LARSON® GRANTS PRESENTATION


Who: Performers Brian d’Arcy James, Kerry Butler, Julia Murney and Brad Bass, John Eric Parker and Ephraim Sykes from Memphis, along with this year’s Jonathan Larson® Grant recipients Peter Lerman, Daniel Maté, and songwriting team Michael Kooman (music) and Christopher Dimond (book & lyrics) and Jonathan Larson’s family Julie Larson, and Al and Nan Larson.

What: The Jonathan Larson® Grants, given annually to honor emerging composers, lyricists and book writers, are presented to the 2010 recipients. The evening includes performances by James, Butler, and the Memphis trio – performing the recipients’ original work as well as a rarely heard Jonathan Larson song.
