New York, NY (February 12, 2020) – Broadway.com’s  annual “Broadway’s Biggest Fan Contest,” where one Broadway super fan and their guest will win a trip to New York to attend the 2020 Broadway.com Audience Choice Awards, guest star on Broadway.com’s #LiveAtFive webseries, and receive tickets to 2019 Best Musical Hadestown, Moulin Rouge! The Musical, and Beetlejuice. Contest entries will be accepted starting 10:00 a.m. ET on Wednesday, February 12 through Sunday, March 22.

“Our annual fan contest is our way of saying thank you to all of the Broadway fans we have connected with through our family of companies, including Broadway.com, BroadwayBox, Broadway Channel, GSBO and Broadway Across America,” said John Gore, Owner and CEO of the John Gore Organization. “We can’t wait to celebrate the Audience Choice Awards with Broadway’s Biggest Fan!”

To enter, contestants must create a video, 60 seconds or less, that proves why they are Broadway’s biggest Fan (major points for creativity). Contestants will upload their finished video on YouTube, Vimeo, or Instagram (with the hashtag

#BroadwaysBiggestFan) and then submit the entry via https://www.broadway.com/biggestfan/.

Fans will vote on 10 semi-finalists from March 30 through April 5. On April 20, a panel of celebrity Broadway judges and SiriusXM’s Julie James will select the grand prize winner.

The 2020 Broadway.com Audience Choice Awards will be presented at a private reception in May 2020. Each year, at the end of the Broadway season, stars come together to this ceremony where the most democratic theater award is handed. In recent years, the ceremony has featured Award Winners Uma Thurman, Andrew Garfield, Tina Fey, Ben Platt, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Jeremy Jordan and more.

The Broadway.com Audience Choice Award is the only major theatrical prize awarded solely by votes cast online by audience members. Awards are presented in traditional categories as well as several unique to the Broadway.com Audience Choice Awards, including “Favorite Diva Performance,” “Favorite Breakthrough Performance,” and “Favorite Onstage Pair.” In addition, an award is presented for national tours to encourage the participation of Broadway fans not only in New York but across the country. All awards are decided solely by the voting of theater fans on Broadway.com.
