New York, NY (May 7, 2019) – Broadway.com announced the nominations in 22 competitive categories for the 20th Annual Broadway.com Audience Choice Awards. The nominees were selected by fans who voted for all eligible candidates in a comprehensive Broadway.com survey. Nominated candidates will have the opportunity to be voted for online by fans celebrating the “People’s Choice Awards” for Broadway.

This year, Be More Chill tops the list of the most nominated musicals, while To Kill a Mockingbird was among the most nominated plays. Broadway favorites, Stephanie Hsu and Will Roland (Be More Chill) lead the pack with three nominations each. Full list of nominations below. Voting is open to everyone now and can be completed by visiting  Broadway.com/awards.

In its 20th year, the Broadway.com Audience Choice Awards celebrates the fan favorites of the season by giving the vote to the people. The voting period begins TODAY, May 7 and will conclude on Sunday, May 12 at 11:59pm. Winners in each category will be announced on Thursday, May 16.

The Broadway.com Audience Choice Awards will be presented at a private reception on Thursday, May 30, 2019, at 48 Lounge (1221 Avenue of the Americas). Each year, at the end of the Broadway season, stars come together to this ceremony where the most democratic theater award is handed. In recent years, the ceremony has featured Award Winners Uma Thurman, Andrew Garfield, Tina Fey, Ben Platt, Lin-Manuel Miranda and more.
