The first-ever streamed production of Jason Robert Brown’s Drama Desk Award-winning musical, The Last Five Years, recorded live at the Southwark Playhouse, will stream for five performances only beginning this Thursday, November 26 at 7:00 PM ET and playing through Sunday, November 29, HERE.
Featuring Molly Lynch (Cathy) and Oli Higginson (Jamie) and directed by Jonathan O’Boyle, this iconic musical returns in a bold new actor-musician production with the actors on stage at all times and playing the piano to add a new narrative dimension to the story, accompanied by a four-piece band (Elaine Ambridge, Ryan Webber, and Andy Cric).
The Home… for the holidays is a romp through Pelican Roost, the party school of retirement communities. Authors Rick Compton and Betsy Bennett play 18 different characters who sing and dance, revel and kvetch, bloviate and celebrate Christmas, Channukah, Kwanzaa, and the Solstice, too. Audiences will never think of The Little Drummer Boy the same. The Home… for the holidays streams this Saturday, November 28 at 7:30 PM ET, HERE.
Live from Las Vegas, The Carpenters Tribute Concert, “A Christmas Portrait,” starring Sally Olson and Ned Mills, takes you back in time to an old-fashioned Christmas. Audiences will enjoy the nostalgia of the beloved Carpenters Christmas television specials, and the endearing humor that will make one feel young again. The show features the holiday classics “Merry Christmas, Darling,” “Sleigh Ride,” “The Christmas Song,” and more. The Carpenters Tribute Concert, “A Christmas Portrait,” will stream Saturday, November 28 at 8:00 PM ET, HERE.
