New York, NY – 92nd Street Y has announced that Jordan Roth, President of Jujamcyn Theaters, continues his popular interview series, “Broadway Talks with Jordan Roth,” with award winning stage and screen actress Edie Falco on Sunday, April 7th at 7:30 p.m.   Ms. Falco, the Emmy Award-winning star of “Nurse Jackie”, will return to the New York stage this season in Manhattan Theatre Club’s upcoming The Madrid.

A presentation of 92nd Street Y, “Broadway Talks with Jordan Roth” features illuminating one-on-one discussions between Mr. Roth and Broadway luminaries.  Previous conversations have featured Liev Schreiber, Laura Linney, Sean Hayes, Nathan Lane, Billie Joe Armstrong and Michael Mayer, David Hyde Pierce, Elaine Stritch, Patti LuPone, Daniel Radcliffe, Bono and The Edge, Harvey Fierstein, Angela Bassett, Harry Connick Jr., and Nick Jonas.

Edie Falco was last seen on Broadway as Bananas in The House of Blue Leaves (Drama Desk Award for Best Featured Actress, Tony Award Nomination).  She made her Broadway debut in the Tony Award-winning play Sideman (Theatre World Award). Other Broadway credits include Frankie and Johnny in the Claire de Lune and Night Mother. Ms. Falco is currently starring as Jackie in the hit Showtime series “Nurse Jackie” for which she won the Emmy Award for Lead Actress in a Comedy Series. As Carmela Soprano in “The Sopranos” Ms. Falco received 3 Emmy Awards, 2 Golden Globe Awards and 2 SAG Awards for Lead Actress in a Drama Series. Film credits include Cost of Living, Sunshine State, Laws of Gravity, Freedomland, Judy Berlin, and 3 Backyards. Ms. Falco shares the SAG Award record with 19 total SAG nominations. She has 11 for her individual performance and another eight for ensemble work.  She is the only actress to have won Emmys for lead acting in both Drama and Comedy series.
