New York, NY (December 17, 2014) – Producers Tom Kirdahy, Roy Furman, and Ken Davenport reported that the Broadway production of It’s Only a Play has recouped its $3.9 million capitalizationIt’s Only A Play has been breaking house records at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45th Street) since opening in October, and now becomes the first show of the 2014-15 Broadway season to recoup.  The production recently had its best week with a gross of $1,424,039.00 for eight shows for the week ending December 7, which set a new house record at the Schoenfeld, marking the third time the production broke the house record.
