New York, NY (August 11, 2021) – After three triumphant years, 128 guests, and one global pandemic, Broadway’s podcast, The Fabulous Invalid, will celebrate its 100th and final regular episode on September 8, 2021. Episode 100 will be a celebration of co-hosts and co-producers Jamie DuMont and Rob Russo’s all-time favorite performers and performances and will feature an array of special guests.

Later this month, Jamie and Rob will announce their first, joint theatrical co-production.

In a statement, Jamie and Rob said, “What began just over three years ago on a whim turned very quickly into an all consuming and life changing experience. We are endlessly grateful for the listeners who shared our passion and the guests who shared their wisdom. We take our reverence for the artform with us as we begin our next chapter, producing for the stage.”

After the regular series concludes, special bonus content, including mini-serials focused on Jamie and Rob’s future projects, will be released on a semi-regular basis. All 100 episodes will remain archived and available at TheFabulousInvalid.com and through the Broadway Podcast Network.

On this week’s episode (episode 98), Jamie and Rob sit down with their season one and two co-host Jennifer Simard for an epic reunion.  They discuss Jennifer’s pandemic experience as a working actor, her remarkable career on stage, her mentors, and her excitement about returning to Broadway this fall in Company. For episode 99, Jamie and Rob will sit down with theatre legend Sheryl Lee Ralph for their final interview of the series.
