TONY AWARD WINNERS CHRISTINE EBERSOLE AND PAULO SZOT, JUDY COLLINS, KENNY WHITE, WOODY ALLEN SET TO APPEAR
AT NEW YORK’S PREMIER NIGHT SPOT
New York, NY (November 22, 2010) — The Carlyle Hotel (Erich Steinbock, Managing Director) has announced the 2011 Winter season of performers at the legendary Café Carlyle – the “favorite of all New York nightspots,” says Liz Smith – another New York legend.
Ringing in the New Year will be two-time Tony Award-winning actress Christine Ebersole who returns with her musical director John Oddo for a three-week engagement from January 11-29. Following Ms. Ebersole will be Tony Award-winner Paulo Szot in a two-week return engagement from February 1-12 (as well as a special Valentine’s Day show on Sunday, February 13) with the Bob Albanese Trio. Legendary singer/songwriter Judy Collins will be in residence for an extended engagement from February 15 through March 12. Singer/songwriter and Wildflower Records recording artist Kenny White will take the stage for the late show on Saturday evenings during Ms. Collins’ engagement. Woody Allen & The Eddy Davis New Orleans Jazz Band will once again perform on Monday evenings from January 10 through June 7.
