New York, NY (September 2, 2015) – Creative Edge Parties, New York’s leading food innovators and culinary experience experts, is pleased to announce the launch of their new Creative Edge Studio with the return of Flynn McGarry to New York and “Eureka at Creative Edge,” an ongoing 3-day a week chefs counter operating out of the Creative Edge Parties Dining Room at 639 Washington Street, New York, NY 10014 beginning Saturday, September 12.

 

Under the guidance of Creative Edge Parties President and Creative Director Carla Ruben and team, McGarry will be the first partner in Creative Edge Studio, a collaboration between Creative Edge Parties and visiting chefs to showcase new, fresh culinary ideas and talent.

 

Ruben says, “We believe innovation does not come from just one chef, but from a collaboration of ideas, skills and varying inspiration. We were excited to be the first to bring the very talented Flynn McGarry to New York and we are ecstatic to partner again with him for the inaugural installment of the Creative Edge Studio with Eureka at Creative Edge. This

 

Since the age of thirteen, Flynn McGarry has been the chef of his own fine dining supper club/then pop up restaurant Eureka. He gained notoriety from a New Yorker “Talk of the Town” story and three years later was the cover story of The New York Times Magazine food and wine issue.  In 2014, Flynn, at sixteen, became the youngest “30 under 30” Zagat honoree for his Eureka pop up in Los Angeles.  As well as being self-taught, he received his culinary training by staging and working at fine dining restaurants in Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, and recently in Copenhagen and Oslo. Having recently moved to New York, he is bringing Eureka to Creative Edge Parties.

 

“I am so grateful to Carla for her continued support and collaboration,” says McGarry. “Carla and Creative Edge Parties hosted my pop-up last year and when I decided to return to New York the first call I made was to Carla to see if we could do something again. Carla is all about trying new ideas and seeing how far they can go and her new Creative Edge Studio is the perfect home for Eureka.”

 

Eureka at Creative Edge’s 14-course menu is priced at $160.00 per person, including tax and gratuity. A wine pairing is available for $80 dollars per person which consists of approximately 9 pours. There are glasses of wine available for purchase each night for $15 each.
