New York, NY –Daryl Roth (co-producer) and Mark St. Germain (co-producer, director) proudly present MY DOG: An Unconditional Love Story, a documentary film, equal parts poignant and hilarious, that explores the remarkable relationships people share with their dogs. Focusing on a group of well-known New Yorkers and the dogs in their lives, the film offers an entertaining glimpse into the private worlds of often very public people, revealing the extraordinary companionship, healing and love that dogs bring to those who care for them.

Among the extraordinary stories shared in the film is that of Didi Conn and composer David Shire, whose autistic son Daniel was able to extend his world through his relationships with the family dogs. Greg Louganis discusses his decision to begin a career in dog agility when he became frustrated with coaching young swimmers. The film also visits with Glenn Close and her playful dogs; Cindy Adams with her adorable, well-known Yorkies; Richard Gere and Carey Lowell with their beautiful rescue dog; Richard Belzer, whose terrier mix accompanies him where ever he goes; and Edie Falco, who rescued her dog and adopted her children and shares her philosophy on both. The film also serves as a loving tribute to the late actress Lynn Redgrave and her beloved rescue, Viola.
