New York, NY — Producer Brian Anthony Moreland announced today that Denzel Washington and Jake Gyllenhaal will star together on Broadway in William Shakespeare’s Othello. The production, directed by Tony Award-winner Kenny Leon, will open in Spring 2025 at a Shubert Theatre to-be-announced.
Mr. Washington will portray the title character, while Mr. Gyllenhaal will play ‘Iago’.
Casting is by Duncan Stewart of ARC Casting; 101 Productions are General Managers.
