Every day is opening night.

Dressing Like a D’ysquith

This year, I celebrated Halloween with the British aristocracy, shooting curtain call at the Tony Award-winning ‘A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder’! Two masters of the stage, Carole Shelley and Catherine Walker, made their debuts that night as Miss Shingle and Phoebe D’Ysquith. They slipped into their respective roles like a hand might slip into a silken glove! After the show, it appeared as if the English nobility spilled out onto the New York streets, as fans of Gentleman’s Guide dressed up as their favorite characters from the show. In this Photo of the Week, Sibella and Phoebe wait outside the stage door for, well, Sibella and Phoebe!
