Frank Verlizzo
Currently represented with the ubiquitous posters for the smash-hit Broadway revival of Follies, Frank “Fraver” Verlizzo is not the kind of theaterical artist you usually read about. He isn't an actor, nor a director, nor a scenic designer, nor a choreographer. No, Fraver's art lives offstage. And, yet, what Fraver creates is often the most widely recognizable aspect of a given show, and the one that remains in the public consciousness long after the curtain has fallen for the last time. He is an advertising artist and he has created some of the most indelible images ever created for the stage.
