Fraver

As Creative Director of Eliran Murphy Group, Frank “Fraver” Verlizzo is not the kind of theaterical artist you usually read about. He isn't an actor, nor a director, nor a scenic designer, nor a choreographer. No, Fraver's art lives offstage. And, yet, what Fraver creates is often the most widely recognizable aspect of a given show, and the one that remains in the public consciousness long after the curtain has fallen for the last time. He is an advertising artist and he has created some of the most indelible images ever created for the stage.  If you don't know what an advertising artist does, think of Salvatore Romano (Bryan Batt) from “Mad Men.”

Fraver's celebrated, multi-decade career is on permanent display at his brand new website, http://www.fraver.com. The site not only boasts over hundred of his original (and beloved) poster designs, but it also gives wonderful anecdotes for each show represented.  It's a site that any theater-lover should visit early and often!
