Hand To God’s surprise red carpet guests
Hand to God was a very special show for me – working on the off-Broadway production at MCC Theater, then to Broadway with the same cast. Some CRAZY stories from this show, but this one particular photo is from Opening Night. Our show’s puppet star ‘Tyrone McHandsely’ walked our pre-show red carpet. We NEEDED to have puppet friends there to support him, so while the red carpet was happening, I ran to Times Square, offered Elmo and Cookie Monster $20 each and said “follow me.” The result is this photo, with Walter Bobbie in the background enjoying the spectacle.
