Jamie Du Mont

If you’re looking for a man of culture, an arbiter of taste, and a maven of all things on the stage, look no further than Jamie Du Mont. Jamie — who, in certain circles, goes by the loving mononym Trout — has had a hand in planning some of the major — and if not major, most glamorous — events in New York City. No matter gallery opening, or intimate soiree, Jamie has been there with his signature, acute awareness and panache. Above it all though, he’s one for the theater. From Mame to Master Class to “Mama Who Bore Me,” Mr. Du Mont knows his stuff, and now, he is creator of the hit podcast “The Fabulous Invalid” alongside co-hosts Jennifer Simard, Leslie Kritzer and Rob Russo. Indulge, if you will, in his recent conversation with Broadway legend Donna Murphy, and keep an ear out for upcoming episodes with the illustrious of our industry. But for now, let’s sit and talk with Jamie Du Mont On the Couch!
