Julia Murney
Julia Murney is an actress that knows how to please a crowd. She has soared high above Broadway in the role of Elphaba in Wicked, and has enticed audiences as Queenie in Andrew Lippa’s The Wild Party. Q: What do you consider to be your best asset?
I have a good ear for helping friends work through problems. Also, I have nice feet.

Maybe buying my apartment

Oregon Chai tea w/skim milk

Everyday: kale, avocado, roasted pine nuts, lemon, olive oil Special: Steak(medium rare)w/baked potato I also don’t tend to reject cookie dough

The Olympics
Q: If you could give up one of your vices, what would it be?
Sugar
Q: What is the one professional accomplishment you long for most?
To have a career in the mode of Laura Linney or Allison Janney…awesome women who get to do interesting things in all different mediums
Q: What is the one thing you waste too much money on?
Travel, though I don’t consider it a waste one bit

Staring at my dog
Q: What do you consider to be the single greatest threat to your health?
My aversion to the gym…clearly I enjoy paying for it as I do that every month like clockwork-i just don’t seem to like attending
Q: What is the single best trait you inherited or learned from your parents?
That a package of pencils wrapped up and under the Christmas tree is just a great as anything else

I don’t know what on earth to do with all of these pencils
Q: What in the world most thrills you?
Seeing people attempt to achieve…doesn’t matter if they get there…it’s seeing them try (see: current obsession)
Q: What current trend in popular culture most irritates you?
Overreaching snarkiness. I’m all for a little ribbing but cruelty makes me feel oogy.
Q: What was the single most embarrassing moment you've ever experienced on the job?
When I had to call out midshow during Wicked…my voice didn’t want to play and I didn’t listen and paid an ego crushing price (though I eventually laughed afterwards in my dressing room as I looked at my tear stained streaked green face)
Q: What is your favorite place in the world?
Where there are friends, laughter, food, and board games (if we are on the water, all the better)
Q: What is the most important trait you seek in a romantic partner?
An intelligent sense of humour. Sexy’s real good, too.
Q: Do you prefer the company of dogs or cats?
My dog, Pepper
Q: What would have to happen to make today the best day of your life?
There would have to be music and travel and food and friends and puppies and laughter and naps and…i don’t know-I have lots of good days

It’s just a skit in a basement (which applies to all skits in my book)…or…Choose Enjoyment
