Kristolyn Lloyd
Kristolyn Lloyd is keenly aware of what it feels like to be in a hit Broadway show. That’s because she plays the hilarious and human Alana Beck beside Ben Platt, Laura Dreyfuss and Rachel Bay Jones in Dear Evan Hansen! Before this, Kristolyn appeared in the Encores Production of Cabin in the Sky and Second Stage’s Invisible Thread as well as Heathers: The Musical. Kristolyn has a bright future ahead of her. In the meantime, she’s chilling for a second or two On the Couch!
What do you consider to be your best asset?
Like physically??? I’m just gonna say something humble. Like, my kind spirit…
What was your proudest moment?
Probably all of 2009! I quit acting for that year and did missionary work. Best decision of my life.
What is your favorite drink?
Sparkling flavored water!!! Or wine…
What is your favorite food?
Snack wise: Popcorn

BBQ Sauce (Texas Girl!)
What is your current obsession?
The Alabama Shakes (I know! I’m late, don’t judge me)
If you could give up one of your vices, what would it be?
So embarrassing…*cough* “Keeping Up With The Kardashians.”
What is the one professional accomplishment you long for most?
Joining the professional surfing circuit.
What is the one thing you waste too much money on?
Nah. I’m pretty good with my paper. But I should probably eat out less and spend that money on a puppy!
What is the one activity you waste too much time doing?
Looking at my phone.
What do you consider to be the single greatest threat to your health?
My obsession with popcorn.
What is the single best trait you inherited or learned from your
parents?
Momma and Daddy didn’t suffer no fools. But they are very generous. I’d like to think I’ve inherited that balance.
What is the single worst trait you inherited or learned from your
parents?
Saying I’m not hungry and don’t care where we eat but then eventually choosing the restaurant for everyone and filling up on table chips and guacamole.
What in the world most thrills you?
Traveling someplace new!

I “ship” this. I. Hate. That. Phrase.
What was the single most embarrassing moment you’ve ever experienced on the job?
Oh easy! I tripped and fell during curtain call and my dress flew up over my butt as I slide across the stage behind Mike Faist bowing. I was wearing a thong….
What is your favorite place in the world?
I have a secret little spot on a beach in Malibu that I loved going to that was never ever crowded. It brought me so much peace and joy.
What is the most important trait you seek in a romantic partner?
Spontaneity!
Do you prefer the company of dogs or cats?
I like a sweet cat and a chill dog.
What would have to happen to make today the best day of your
life?
My best girl friends in LA all show up in NYC for the weekend!!! (Hint hint)

Everything that’s supposed to happen is going to happen. So let go and let God baby.
