TO BE RESCHEDULED

New York, NY (November 2, 2012) – Labyrinth Theater Company (Co-Artistic Directors Stephen Adly Guirgis, Mimi O’Donnell, Yul Vázquez and Managing Director, Danny Feldman), the award-winning, downtown ensemble, announced today its annual signature benefit Celebrity Charades 2012 will be postponed due the lingering effects of Hurricane Sandy. A new date has not yet been selected but is expected to be announced in the coming days. Labyrinth Theater Company’s annual star-studded fundraising event remains one of the most popular ‘happenings’ of the year in New York City and was originally scheduled for Monday, November 5th at Capitale.

Past Celebrity Charades players have included Bob Balaban, Bobby Cannavale Billy Crudup, Edie Falco, Woody Harrelson, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Julianna Marguiles, Edward Norton, John Ortiz, Julia Roberts, Chris Rock, Sam Rockwell, Cynthia Rowley, David Schwimmer, Kristen Wiig, Robin Williams, and more.

The audience of Celebrity Charades is an eclectic mix of artists, old-school New Yorkers, urban professionals and media and entertainment tastemakers.  Memorable themes in recent years have included a pep rally; a knockout in a boxing ring; a Battle of Good and Evil; a rock Charades cranked up all the way; and 2009’s no-limit Charades jackpot.

Celebrity Charades is sponsored by Time Warner, Raymond Weil Timepieces, BNY Mellon Wealth Management, Mondrian Soho, and Patrón Spirits.
