Laura Osnes

Following the reality TV competition “You’re The One That I Want,” Laura Osnes made her Broadway debut in the 2007 revival of Grease. Since then she has become one of Broadway’s best-loved gals, starring in South Pacific, Anything Goes, and most recently Bonnie & Clyde, for which she received her first Tony nomination. My sweet tooth (Well, not really – I'd miss ice-cream if I had to give it up completely)

Too much stress and lack of joy

Q: What is the single best trait you inherited or learned from your parents?
My faith

Q: What is the single worst trait you inherited or learned from your parents?
Being cheap — My husband had to teach me that a 20% tip is expected, not 15%.

Q: What in the world most thrills you?
Seeing my friends in Broadway shows, hehe

Q: What was the single most embarrassing moment you've ever experienced on the job?
Falling down on stage during a performance of South Pacific — I was wearing a bathing suit and completely wiped out on water that was on stage.  Bare legs and embarrassment everywhere.

Q: What is your favorite place in the world?
Italy's Almafi Coast

Q: What is the most important trait you seek in a romantic partner?
Sharing the same faith and being taken-care of … I'm a girl who loves a gentleman. 

Q: Do you prefer the company of dogs or cats?
Dogs!  Especially my 1-year old chihuahua, Lyla. 

Q: What would have to happen to make today the best day of your life?
Ooooh, I'd win the lottery, win a Tony award, then have a big party at my place with all my favorite people!
