New York, NY (June 3, 2021) – The John Gore Organization announced today that the newest episode of “Broadway Profiles with Tamsen Fadal,” America’s first nationally syndicated Broadway entertainment program, will feature Broadway favorites including Lin-Manuel Miranda, Anthony Ramos, Daphne Rubin-Vega, Jimmy Smits, Olga Merediz, Quiara Alegría Hudes, and Alfred Molina. Locally, in New York City, this week’s episode will premiere on WPIX-TV on Sunday, June 6 at 6:30 PM ET.
The upcoming episode will celebrate all things “In the Heights” and features “In the Heights” creator Lin-Manuel Miranda talking about the show’s journey from the stage to the screen and his decision to appear in the film himself; “In the Heights” film star Anthony Ramos chatting about playing the movie’s leading man, Usnavi; “In the Heights” film stars Jimmy Smits and Olga Merediz speaking about the magical feeling the final product of the movie has given them; “In the Heights” film star Daphne Rubin-Vega talking about the excitement of filming on location in the neighborhood that inspired the story behind the film; “In the Heights” writer Quiara Alegría Hudes sharing what it feels like sharing this story with millions of people; film and stage star Alfred Molina chatting about his new online performance, We Have to Hurry, benefitting The Actors Fund, and his return to the Marvel universe; and much more.
