Michael Arden joins us for our final On The Couch of the Season. What do you consider to be your best asset?
My ability to bring people together and make connections between them.

Introducing the cast of Deaf West Spring Awakening at the first Broadway preview.

Gin martini. No vermouth.

My dog, Hudson.

Forming a repertory company that is constantly producing varied and exciting work.

What was the most embarrassing moment you’ve ever experienced on the job?
Completely forgetting my lines onstage at the Old Globe. I still have nightmares.

Tokyo.

Aspiration.

Do you prefer the company of dogs or cats?
Dogs. Cats just endure us for the food.

This is an impossible question. Because probably it would be something I can’t imagine.
