Every day is opening night.

Paul Alexander Nolan

Making his 9th appearance on Broadway in one of the season’s most anticipated revivals, Parade, starring Ben Platt and Micaela Diamond, Paul Alexander Nolan joins us as the first in a double episode of On The Couch. His performance, which began off-Broadway and transferred to The Bernard B. Jacobs theatre, as the infamous (and slightly terrifying) Hugh Dorsey, plays an imperative role in one of Broadway, and America’s most beloved stories, which has become more relevant than ever.

With a resume that spans the likes of Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar, Billy Flynn in Chicago, to Jim in Slave Play and Guy in Once, if we’re talking about range, this actor has it all. Read the full Q&A below to learn about Paul’s NHL obsession and leave with a new drink recommendation.
