Raise You Up
On Thanksgiving morning, when Twitter is trending #kinkyboots more than it’s trending #thanksgiving itself, you know you’ve got a hit on your hands. At this year’s Macy’s Day Parade, the Tony Award winning musical sensation kicked off the festivities with a hair-raising performance of Raise You Up/ Just Be – and immediately, everyone knew what they would be talking about over Turkey and cranberry sauce. Billy Porter, Stark Sands and the rest of the red-heeled cast celebrated their successes by shopping ‘til they dropped at Macy’s. In this photo, Lola and her entourage ascended the escalator with grace and finesse… on their way to the shoe department, no doubt.
