PREVIEWS BEGIN TOMORROW, TUESDAY, MARCH 19, 2019

New York, NY (March 18, 2019) – Producer Eva Price announced today that beginning on first preview, tomorrow, Tuesday, March 19, The Bard SummerScape production of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Oklahoma!, will launch a $40 digital lottery.

The Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Oklahoma! lottery is powered by Shubert Ticketing through the Telecharge Digital Lottery platform, which provides theatergoers wide access to affordable tickets through multiple social media networks. Available performances will be posted on www.OklahomaBroadwayLottery.com as early as 12:00 AM Eastern Time the day of the performance. Matinee lotteries close at 9:00 AM and evening lotteries close at 2:00 PM. Winners can purchase their tickets at www.OklahomaBroadwayLottery.com and will pick up their tickets at the Circle in the Square Theatre box office (1633 Broadway) with their credit card. Limit: 2 tickets per person.

Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Oklahoma! plays Broadway’s Circle in the Square Theatre with performances beginning Tuesday, March 19, 2019 and an official opening on Sunday, April 7, 2019. It will play a limited engagement through Sunday, September 1, 2019.

Directed by Daniel Fish, Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Oklahoma! comes to Broadway direct from a critically acclaimed, sold out run at St. Ann’s Warehouse this past fall. The cast stars Will Brill as Ali Hakim, Anthony Cason as Cord Elam, Damon Daunno as Curly McLain, James Davis as Will Parker, Gabrielle Hamilton as Lead Dancer, Rebecca Naomi Jones as Laurey Williams, Will Mann as Mike, Mallory Portnoy as Gertie Cummings, Ali Stroker as Ado Annie, Mitch Tebo as Andrew Carnes, two-time Tony Award-nominee Mary Testa as Aunt Eller and Patrick Vaill as Jud Fry.  The cast also includes: Chris Bannow, Demetia Hopkins-Greene, Sasha Hutchings, Denver Milord, Kristie Dale Sanders, Chelsea Lee Williams.

Oklahoma! features music by Richard Rodgers, a book and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, based on the play Green Grow the Lilacs by Lynn Riggs with original choreography by Agnes de Mille.

This production was originally developed, produced, and premiered at the Richard B. Fisher Center for the Performing Arts at Bard College (Jeanne Donovan Fisher, Chair; Leon Botstein, President; Gideon Lester, Artistic Director; Bob Bursey, Executive Director; Caleb Hammons, Senior Producer) in July 2015. This production of Oklahoma! was subsequently developed and produced by St. Ann’s Warehouse at the Joseph S. and Diane H. Steinberg Theater, Brooklyn, NY, Fall 2018.
