BINDER CASTING WILL CONDUCT AUDITIONS IN NEW YORK CITY
BEGINNING JULY 22, 2013

NEW YORK, NY (June 18, 2013) –  Emmy® Award-winning NYC based entertainment firm RWS and Associates Entertainment, Inc. has been tapped by Holland America Line as part of a renewed commitment to revolutionize the way live stage entertainment is presented aboard their premium cruise ships.  Under the new partnership, RWS will produce five new and original, Broadway-level stage productions for the completely remodeled main stage theaters onboard ms Eurodam and ms Westerdam.  Each production will employ directors and choreographers straight from Broadway, dynamic performers and state of the art technology to bring the Great White Way directly to Holland America Line passengers around the world.

The new partnership with Holland America Line allows RWS to offer yet another professional artistic outlet for performers while also giving them the unique opportunity to see the world.

Binder Casting, responsible for casting the smash hit Broadway productions of The Lion King, Nice Work If You Can Get It, Movin’ Out and many others, will hold open casting calls for singers and dancers beginning July 22, 2013 at Pearl Studios (519 8th Ave / 12th floor). 

Singers (union/non-union)
Monday, July 22, 2013 at 10 a.m. (females) and 2 p.m. (males) 
Please prepare 16-32 bars of pop/rock or contemporary musical theatre song showing range and personality. Bring sheet music in correct key; accompanist will be provided. Bring headshot and resume stapled together. You may be called back to move later the same day; bring dance clothes/shoes.

Dancers (union/non-union)
Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at 10 a.m. (females) and 2 p.m. (males)
A brief dance combination will be taught. Bring form-fitting dance attire (women bring heels, all bring tap shoes), headshot and resume stapled together.

Callbacks for both singers and dancers will be held Wednesday, July 24, 2013.  All performers must be over the age of 21 at the time of audition.
