Sarah Stiles
These days, Sarah Stiles attends Sunday school eight times a week. As Jessica in the Broadway hit Hand to God, she navigates the tumultuous waters of religion. Starting November 3, her guide through these waters will be television icon, Bob Saget, who will take to the Booth stage to play Pastor Greg! Stiles is Broadway’s new face of comedy. She made her Broadway debut as Lucy the Slut/Kate Monster in Avenue Q, going on to memorable roles in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and On A Clear Day You Can See Forever. In the park, Stiles played Little Red in the Shakespeare in the Park production of Into the Woods. We are thrilled to have Sarah Stiles On the Couch!
What do you consider to be your best asset?
My spunk and my chipmunk voice.
What was your proudest moment?
When I didn't win the Tony. The way my baby brother and sister swallowed me up in their arms and what they said in my ear after the first commercial break following. I have never been more proud because to be loved like that must mean I did something right.
What is your favorite drink?
Full bodied California cab at night followed by chocolate coconut water in the morning.
What is your favorite food?
Shrimp Shumai.
What is your favorite condiment?
Sriracha.
What is your current obsession?
Giant COCK-tail rings ; )
If you could give up one of your vices, what would it be?
Candy at the crew table. It stares at me on stage left.
What is the one professional accomplishment you long for most?
I want to publish a book of poetry.
What is the one thing you waste too much money on?
Fresh flowers for my apartment.
What is the one activity you waste too much time doing?
Blow-drying my curly hair straight.
What do you consider to be the single greatest threat to your health?
Anxiety.

What was the single most embarrassing moment you've ever experienced on the job?
Well in training for the job at age six, I peed myself at the ballet bar. I could never look at my favorite pink leotard in the same way again.
What is your favorite place in the world?
Anywhere my sister is.
What is the most important trait you seek in a romantic partner?
Laughter on both sides. You’re funny/you think I’m funny. The biggest turn on. It’s a deal breaker if not.
Do you prefer the company of dogs or cats?
Cats.
What would have to happen to make today the best day of your life?
Each new one I get is the best day.
