MUSICAL DIRECTION BY MILTON GRANGER

New York, NY – It was announced today that St. Clement’s Episcopal Church will present Easter Mysteries, a contemporary oratorio about death and resurrection with Music, Book, and Lyrics by John O’Boyle during this year’s holy week celebrations.  The production will be directed by Dan Wackerman with Musical Direction by Milton Granger.  Performances will take place at the Theatre at St. Clement’s (423 W. 46th Street) on March 27 at 7:00 p.m., March 29 at 7:00 p.m., and March 30 at 2:00 p.m.

Easter Mysteries is an ageless story interpreted in a fresh, contemporary way.   Through an original script with music, it tells the story of a group of devoted followers led by their charismatic leader into Jerusalem to celebrate Passover.  They are met by a joyously responsive crowd and the “kingdom on earth” that once seemed so unattainable, now feels imminent.  What follows is radically different from that expectation.

Tickets are $25 and are available by calling (212) 352-3101 or visiting www.stclementsnyc.org.  Proceeds will go to St. Clement’s Food Pantry.

For more information, call (212) 633-6533.
