Every day is opening night.

Tao Show

I’ve always believed that the glamour of an opening night is directly related to the quality of the Broadway show. So, if you were at the star studded, flower laden, blowout opening of Side Show this Monday, you’d have the sense that this lush and moving musical was really something special. The energy was palpable, and it could be felt all the way down on 16th Street, where the David Rockwell designed Tao was getting ready for the party – the biggest one I’ve experienced this Broadway season! In this photo, the Tao and Side Show art exist in a harmony as pure as that of Daisy and Violet Hilton.
