(May 11, 2022) – Broadway.com announced the nominations in 22 competitive categories for the 22nd Annual Broadway.com Audience Choice Awards. The nominees were selected by fans who voted for all eligible candidates in a comprehensive Broadway.com survey. Nominated candidates will have the opportunity to be voted for online by fans celebrating the “People’s Choice Awards” for Broadway.

This year, Six: the Musical tops the list of the most nominated musicals, while POTUS: Or, Behind Every Great Dumbass are Seven Women Trying to Keep Him Alive and Take Me Out were tied for the most nominated play. Broadway legend, Patti LuPone (Company) and Broadway newcomer Beanie Feldstein (Funny Girl) lead the pack with four nominations each. Full list of nominations below. Voting is open to everyone now and can be completed by visiting Broadway.com/awards.

In its 22nd year, the Broadway.com Audience Choice Awards celebrates the fan favorites of the season by giving the vote to the people. The voting period begins TODAY, May 11 and will conclude on Sunday, May 15 at 11:59pm. Winners in each category will be announced on Wednesday, June 1.
