The Smoothest Dirty Rotten Scoundrel in the West End
Once again, I found myself across the pond, this time, taking in the theatrical world of the West End. On my first night, I saw one of my favorite NY grown musicals, “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels”, at the Savoy. After the performance, I caught the talented Rufus Hound, star of the hit show, outside the stage door. Actor, comedian and, now, theatrical luminary, Hound has made his indelible mark on British pop culture. In “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels”, he commands the stage as he has done all his life, this time, along side the great Robert Lindsay. Rufus smiled for me, helmet and all, poised to ride off into the London night.
