TICKETS NOW ON SALE THROUGH APRIL 1

New York, NY (1/9/2012) – Producer Daryl Roth announced today that Daytime Emmy Award-winner and “One Live to Live” star Robin Strasser, Erica Watson (Precious), and TV icon Dawn Wells (“Gilligan’s Island”) will all join upcoming casts of the Off Broadway hit  Love, Loss, and What I Wore, now in its third smash year.  Strasser joins the February 2012 cast (February 1 – 26) on the heels of the final episode of the long-running “One Life to Live,” and Wells joins the same cast having recently performed in the successful Chicago production of Love, Loss, and What I Wore.  Watson will take part in the show beginning February 29, through April 1, and was also part of the show’s Chicago run.

Beginning this week, Love, Loss, and What I Wore is playing a new schedule, with performances on Wednesday at 2 PM & 8 PM, Thursday – Friday at 8 PM, Saturday at 2 PM & 8 PM and Sunday at 3 PM & 7 PM.  Tickets for the long-running show are on-sale through April 1, 2012.

Written by Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron, Love, Loss, and What I Wore, opened in October 2009 at the Westside Theatre (407 W 43rd Street), where it’s broken all box office records.  Based on the best-selling book by Ilene Beckerman as well as on the recollections of the Ephrons’ friends, and directed by Karen Carpenter, this collection of stories dares to ask “Can’t we all just stop pretending anything is ever going to be the new black?”  Love, Loss, and What I Wore opens the closet on this and other sartorial queries by using clothes as a metaphor for matters far deeper than the average walk-in closet.

The current NYC cast of Love, Loss, and What I Wore (through January 29) includes Veanne Cox, Nancy Dussault, Katie Lee, Fern Mallis and Lillias White and the show is currently on tour starring Emily Dorsch, Daisy Eagan, Sonia Manzano, Loretta Swit and Myra Lucretia Taylor.

The production, which was honored with a 2010 Drama Desk Award and a Broadway.com Audience Award, is performed by a rotating cast of five all-star actors, who perform in five-week cycles.   Members of the rotating cast have included La La Anthony, Samantha Bee, Alexis Bledel, Kristin Chenoweth, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Tyne Daly, Fran Drescher, Janeane Garofalo, Melissa Joan Hart, Carol Kane, Minka Kelly, Stacy London, Jane Lynch, Natasha Lyonne, AnnaLynne McCord, Anne Meara, Rosie O’Donnell, Rhea Perlman, Eve Plumb, Caroline Rhea, Doris Roberts, Tracee Ellis Ross, Sherri Shepherd, Brooke Shields, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Cobie Smulders, Rita Wilson and many more.

Tickets ($79.00) are available via Telecharge.com (212-239-6200) and in-person at the Westside Theatre Box Office (407 West 43rd Street).  Same-day general rush tickets ($25.00, cash only) are available at the Westside Theatre box office, beginning at noon.  (Limited to two rush tickets per person.  Seats are based on availability; some are limited view.)
